Track record · Colombia, June 2026
A sub-one-point national election, held to the evidence standard.
The Colombian presidential runoff of 21 June 2026 was decided by the narrowest second-round margin in the country's history as a share of the vote (~0.95%); 1994 remains closer in absolute votes, at 156,585. Our platform ran a national field-capture and evidence-chain operation in production through that count — under exactly the conditions this product line exists for.
The official record
Final escrutinio margin: 251,854 votes (~0.95%) — the narrowest second-round margin in Colombian history by share of the vote; the 1994 runoff was closer in absolute votes (156,585). Certified by the CNE and proclaimed 24 June 2026.
CNE Resolución E-3181 / formulario E-26. Result figures are the electoral authority's official record — always attributed, never presented as our own count. The result survived a challenge to approximately 33,000 polling stations; all petitions (reclamaciones) were subsequently withdrawn. The final official count reproduced the preliminary count within ~0.003% per the CNE record — the kind of official-to-preliminary coherence that independent verification exists to confirm, and, when absent, to document.
What ran in production
- A national field-capture and evidence-chain operation — capture → structured report → routing, live through the engagement.
- Provenance discipline under pressure. Across a four-day count window, every number our automated monitor surfaced carried a provenance marker or a logged N/A. It never estimated what it could not see — including declining to read "no anomalies visible" as a clean bill where its view was limited.
- Operational gates held. No public claims during the preliminary count; acknowledgment only on the official proclamation.
- Platform availability: the health endpoint returned OK on every one of ~42 automated monitor runs, 21–24 June.
The automated tally-sheet verification pipeline did not run live at national scale in this engagement; its status is simulation-proven (a 3-tally-sheet live demonstration plus a pipeline designed for national scale). Our own blameless postmortem documents this, and its findings became the operational gates we now contract to. We hold what is held as proof: a 5,101 tally-sheet analyzed, provenance-tagged sample from this engagement — our living demo dataset, shown on request.
What this record means for a buyer
It means three things, none of them a superlative: the evidence discipline works under the pressure of a contested, sub-one-point national count; the platform stays up while it matters; and when a capability has not yet earned a production claim, we say so in writing — before you ask. The postmortem, the provenance logs, and the isolation test outputs are available to serious evaluators.
